Community
We all feel it and studies confirm it: parents and caregivers need connection and community. Social media can give us that connection and community, but not always in a positive and supportive way. The Moss House wants to take the parenting groups off Facebook, and into a safe environment that encourages building friendships, offering advice and experience, and real connection to your community.

Mindfulness and Movement
Each class will begin with a guided movement flow, think sun salutations or nerve-calming stretches and poses, meant for caregiver and child to do together. After movement we will practice a technique to help with mindfulness and helping children “find their calm”. No experience is necessary, and all abilities are welcome. This portion of the program is led by a certified children’s yoga instructor with experience teaching children with physical and developmental delays and disabilities.

Together, Independently
Mindfully Wild! offers caregivers and children a space to connect with each other while also allowing you to each fulfill your own social and emotional needs. Children can choose to stay close to their caregiver, or join the program leaders for a game or activity. Caregivers can help themselves to our coffee bar and socialize, or grab a comfy spot and just relax.
