Playfully Wild!
Playfully Wild! is our forest preschool program for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. With the outdoors as our classroom and nature acting as a guide, this play-based program considers your child’s holistic development guided by experienced educators. Fundamentally Wild! in our newly expanded location!
Fundamentally Wild! is a program for homeschoolers, unschoolers, and children of all abilities to get into nature, explore, and learn new outdoor skills, all while building a community of friends. This program is located in our newly expanded location in Port Crane, offering a large woodland area, longer hiking trails, and even more projects and play!
We welcome all abilities, all backgrounds, and school aged children up to age 12. Children will work within their age group; for example children ages 5-7, children ages 8-10, and children ages 10-12 work and play together. NEW! Project W.I.L.D.
Project W.I.L.D. is The Moss House’s newest programs created for homeschooling/alternative schooling teenagers ages 13-18 to explore, create, socialize, and get grounded in nature.
Project W.I.L.D. (Wander, Innovate, Learn, Discover) is a project based learning class that includes self-directed learning supported by experts and knowledgeable adult volunteers, guiding teens as they study and explore woodworking, ecology, biology, engineering, art, conservation, and anything else your teen finds deep interest in.
